Nurse practitioners (NP) are educated and trained to provide health promotion and maintenance through the diagnosis and treatment of acute illness and chronic condition.

Sydenham House Medical Group have a number of Nurse Practioners based within the surgeries.

Healthcare Assistants

Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as blood pressure measurement, NHS health checks  and new patient checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.
